We're Elisenda (Eli) and Libor, founders of Barcelona Born & Bred — a small, independent company offering authentic food tours in Barcelona, focused on slow tourism, responsible travel, and Catalan culinary heritage.

We met and live in Edinburgh were we discover our love to our profession. With a background in History, Tourism & Customer Service and over 15 years of guiding experience across Europe, we've spent the last 6 years curating intimate, off-the-beaten-path food tours in our favorite city: Barcelona.

Eli is a proud Catalan, passionate home cook, and food travel enthusiast who loves connecting with other tour hosts around the world.

Libor is a gifted communicator and a creative soul with a background in screen printing, bringing warmth and clarity to every story we tell.

Our tours are deeply personal — we visit local markets, family-run eateries, artisanal wine cellars, and heritage food producers who preserve the rich flavors of Catalonia.
